The Making History Capital Campaign

Our school building, former home of St. Mary High School, was over 95 years old and in dire need of renovation when we opened in 2004. In January 2007, school leadership launched a campaign to fund the improvements: Making History: Advancing the Mission of Notre Dame High School. Since then, generous leadership benefactors have committed approximately 4 million dollars to the philanthropic goal.  The money raised was combined with an additional $1 million low-interest loan to fund a $5 million investment. 

MAJOR RENOVATIONS OUR GENEROUS DONORS MADE POSSIBLE INCLUDE:

• New main entrance
• Elevator installation
• New windows
• Science laboratories
• Library
• Technology resource center
• Conference room and offices
• New roof
• Renovated classrooms (12 total)
• New HVAC
• Updated plumbing and electrical systems
• Improved lighting and security
