Letter from the President
President's Message

Dear Friends,
There is lots of excitement in the air at Notre Dame High School! We received official notice from the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) that Notre Dame High School is now accredited. This means that an objective review board confirmed what we already knew: Notre Dame High School provides a quality, college-preparatory education to our students. We are thrilled to receive this great honor!
Additionally, Notre Dame High School just welcomed its largest freshman class ever. After completing their extensive Summer Training Institute in August for the Corporate Work Study Program, 94 freshmen officially became members of the Notre Dame Family. We hope to continue this growth with next year’s incoming freshman class. With the word spreading through the community that Notre Dame High School is the place your child needs to be if you want him or her to go to college; we should have a new record-breaking number of freshmen in August 2012.
We also look forward with great anticipation as the graduates from our inaugural class of 2008 start to graduate from college. Notre Dame High School alums will graduate from prestigious colleges and universities like College of the Holy Cross, Fairfield University, Johnson and Wales University, Merrimack College, and Southern New Hampshire University. We are extremely proud that Notre Dame High School played a role in setting these students on a path towards success!
It is a privilege to be a part of this wonderful ministry. The Notre Dame High School Community is grateful to the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur for sponsoring Notre Dame High School and for serving the people of Lawrence for more than 150 years.
I invite you to come and learn more about our school. Come find out why Notre Dame High School is a school that works!
In Notre Dame,
Sr. Mary Murphy, SNDdeN, PhD
President
