SAVE THE DATE! 6th Annual Shining Stars Gala on May 4, 2012

Friday, April 29, 2011 - Notre Dame High School hosted 325 guests at a wonderful evening of dinner, dancing, raffles and auctions with our community of donors, Corporate Work Study partners, faculty, staff, student ambassadors and friends at the fifth annual Shining Stars Gala.  The Wyndham Andover Hotel ballroom rocked to the sounds of Disco Vortex, a 12 member band.  After dinner, guests were invited to the dance floor following a surprise “flash mob” dance that included NDHS staff, students and Board members. 

The evening was emceed by Nicole Oliverio of Channel 7 News. Honoree Suzanne Wright of the Ibrahim El-Hefni Technical Training Foundation moved so many as she shared her belief that donating to educate those in need will bring about peace. In Suzanne's words, "Education is the key to peace everywhere. If we are truly our brother's keeper, then if we can afford to do so, we are obligated to help children wherever we can reach their full potential.

Senior Ambar Sabino spoke of the transformative power of her NDHS education. Thanks to the generosity of our donors who made her NDHS education possible, Ambar will attend College of the Holy Cross and plans to one day own a company that will hire NDHS students. 

NDHS is extremely grateful to our Table Sponsors, Student Sponsors, auction item donors and all attendees for their wonderful support of our students.  Thanks to your generosity, we raised $105,000 for NDHS students.
